Gary Phillips -Owner, Tax Preparer, & Business Consultant
- Gary started Phillips Tax & Business Services in 1986. His goal when he started the business was to use his previous experience in banking, corporate credit management, and corporate accounting to help individuals and small businesses in the Grand Island area grow and prosper.
- Gary specializes in tax preparation and business consulting. He has a vast knowledge in local, state, and federal tax regulations and guidelines, allowing him to assist our clients in more ways than one. He prides himself on being able to prepare your taxes and provide you with a personalized service. When you walk out the doors, he wants you to understand what is going on and wants to help you make the best tax decisions for you future.
Kyle Cruise, CPA -Owner, Tax Preparer, & Business Consultant
- Kyle joined Phillips Tax and Business Services in 2023 as a shareholder. He graduated from Doane College in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant who has been practicing public accounting since 2012.
- Kyle specializes in tax preparation and business consulting. Kyle's expertise include business development, business structure advice and preparation of business and individual income tax returns. He believes strongly in taking the time to talk to clients, ask them questions, and make sure we understand their circumstances because we’re much more than accountants to our clients – we’re partners.
Rocio Esparza- Bilingual Tax Preparer
- Rocio Esparza partners with Phillips Tax and Business Services as a Tax Preparer and specializes in both business and individual income taxes. Rocio is able to offer our clients a bilingual service, which helps us be able to better provide tax preparation services to our community. She has an Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Doane University, and is currently pursing her Master's Degree at Doane University. She is a managing partner at Esparza & Associates and also owns a business with her husband. Rocio is also a volunteer at the Literacy Council of Grand Island, the Grand Island Children’s Museum, and a member of the Student Advisory Board.
Deb Phillips - Project Support
- Deb has been with Phillips Tax & Business Services since 2010. She is an important part of the team especially during the busy tax time of year helping mange the collating of tax returns and helping answer questions for clients.
